Whilst St Peter’s Church is open most days of the year for you to visit and explore, this Saturday (14th September), as part of Heritage Open Days, members of the public will have the opportunity to experience a part of church life which is usually heard and not seen – bell ringing!
Visitors will be able to watch the bells as they ring via a camera in the tower, and if they so wish, make the trip up the tower to the ringing chamber. Those wishing to have a go at ringing a bell won’t be disappointed!
