You are here: Services » Funerals
A funeral is used to mark the end of a person's life here on earth. Family and friends come together to express grief, give thanks for the life lived and commend the person into God's keeping.
All three churches in the parish are available for funeral and memorial services. In the first instance, you should ask your Funeral Director to make contact with the parish office. A member of the clergy will then be in touch to discuss the details of your requirements.
The fees are as follows:
St Mary's: £212
Organist: £140 (if choir is present), £100 (standard)
Choir: £55 per chorister
All Saints' & St Peter's: £102
Organist: £120 (if choir is present), £75/£55 (dependent on the amount of music required)
Choir (subject to availability): £220 (full choir), £120 (upper voices)
