Welcome
Welcome to the website of our new parish which brings together All Saints’, St Mary’s and St Peter’s: three distinctive church communities in the centre of Nottingham.
We are looking to work closely with the other faith communities in the centre of the city to offer a committed and effective ministry to the huge diversity of people who come into what is widely acknowledged to be one of the best shopping centres, centres of entertainment and business environments in the country.
We hope you will enjoy looking around the site, that you will visit us if you are in the centre of Nottingham, and that you will contact us at any time if we can provide you with any kind of support or information.
The Parish Profile can be found here.
From the new Priest-in-Charge
I am delighted to have been asked to be Priest-in-Charge of the parish of All Saints, St Mary and St Peter, and am very much looking forward to meeting the members of all three churches. It will certainly be a change from Ashbourne and the villages where I have worked for the past twelve years, although a surprising number of my current parishioners either work in Nottingham or have connections there - some have in fact worshipped in the parish in the past.
I spent almost ten years in two churches in inner city London, and so I will welcome a return to the urban environment with its particular challenges and opportunities. It will be especially good to be in churches with a strong choral tradition, and I very much want to encourage this.
Our two teenage sons, Peter and Mark, are already looking forward to the various delights of Nottingham city centre - they have now reached the age when scenic villages become rather dull!
