Dr Peter Siepmann

Biography

Peter Siepmann first came to St Peter’s as Music Associate in 2002, and has been Organist & Director of Music since 2007. Alongside his church work, he teaches academic music (GCSE & A-level) at Uppingham School, and engages in various freelance activities, including work with the University of Nottigham Choir and the Nottingham Bach Choir.

Peter has experience of conducting choirs and orchestras of all shapes and sizes, and his work with the University of Nottingham’s chamber choir, Viva Voce, as well as the BBC Radio Nottingham Community Choir, has been broadcast on BBC Radio 3.

Peter is a Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music, an Associate of the Royal College of Organists, and has a PhD from the University of Nottingham.
