‘Come in from the cold for a cuppa’

Coffee Mornings at All Saints’, Raleigh Street’
Tuesdays in January, February and March from 11.00 – 12.30 Coffee and tea: 30 pence
Cakes etc to suit your taste as well as your pocket
All welcome.
This initiative is aimed at encouraging those from the area around All Saints' church to feel welcome in the church, and to provide an opportunity from people from the neighbourhood to meet one another. Help with providing coffee and cake etc will be welcome - please contact the vicar or churchwardens.

Members of all three churches in the parish are invited to attend the Licensing of Reverend Stephen Morris as Priest-in-Charge of the Newark-on-Trent with Coddington Team Ministry, at the parish church of St Mary Magdalene, Newark, on Tuesday 21st January 2014 at 7.30pm. The licensing will be carried out by the Bishop of Sherwood, the Rt Rev'd Tony Porter. Light refreshments will follow the service at Newark Town Hall.

Craft in the City

On Saturday 23rd November, St Peter's Church will host 'Craft in the City'.  Some of the finest local artists and makers of jewellery, glassware, textiles and ceramics will have their goods on sale.

In addition to the superb craft stalls, 'Cards for Good Causes' are currently based at St Peter's, selling Christmas cards on behalf of many different charities. There will also be a St Peter's Church Traidcraft stall, with Fairtrade branded food, jewellery, toys and crafts.

The parish of All Saints, St Mary and St Peter in Nottingham city centre have a vacancy for a Verger. 20 hours per week. Duties to include care of church buildings, welcome to visitors and preparation for services and events. Previous experience would be preferred. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Harvest Festival Parish Evensong on Sunday evening, and the supper afterwards, has had to be relocated to St Peter’s Church and the Coffee Room. We apologise for this last minute change of plan. Please be assured that there will be cars at All Saints’ on the evening to transport those who were planning on taking advantage of the easier parking. Also, there is a lot of disabled parking outside St Peter’s, for those who are able to make use of it.
