Coffee Room

Opened in 1999, St Peter’s Coffee Room serves an excellent range of drinks, cakes, sandwiches and light lunches from 9am - 2.30pm, Monday to Saturday.

Whether it’s because of the excellent cakes, friendly service or the knowledge that all profits are used for positive causes, the coffee room has certainly built up a regular, satisfied clientele.

So, next time you’re in Nottingham and are about to collapse under a pile of shopping, why not pop in for some light relief?

Opening hours

Monday to Saturday: 9am - 2.30pm
(closed the weeks following Christmas and Easter, and the first two weeks of August)

Traidcraft Shop

Are you looking for an Advent calendar, Christmas present or Christmas cards, all of which are ethically produced?  If so, why not visit the Traidcraft Shop at St Peter's (in the parish centre, next to the coffee room), where you will find a large range of fairtrade food, crafts, jewellery, toys and textiles.  For more information about the shop and Traidcraft, please click here.

The St Peter’s Coffee Room is now open on Saturdays until Christmas, raising funds for a variety of good causes including overseas aid charities and to support the music in our worship at St Peter’s and St Mary’s. Please do come in on a Saturday for coffee, cake or a light lunch and encourage family and friends to support these good causes.

As the Christmas season approaches, don’t forget to visit the Fairtrade Shop in the St Peter’s Centre (next to the Coffee Room), which is open Monday-Friday, 10.30am-2pm (subject to volunteers). The shop sells lots of beautiful gifts and jewellery, as well as a wide range of food, drink, household items and Christmas cards. Catalogues are available for you to take away, and any orders can be placed through the shop or parish office.

Proceeds from these dates will go to the Parish Overseas Committee which supports a range of overseas charities including Christian Aid.

The coffee shop desperately needs more donations of cakes to sell during the week.  If you are able to commit to providing a cake, please contact the parish office—even just one day a month would help.
