The Christmas Tree Festival is based in St Andrew’s with Castle Gate United Reformed Church located at the junction of Goldsmith Street and Chaucer Street a few minutes walk from Nottingham’s Theatre Royal and on the route of the Nottingham tram. Local organisations, schools, businesses, clubs and societies are invited to decorate a Christmas tree to reflect their organisation. This gives the decorators opportunity to tell the rest of the community about their activities and achievements.
As we move towards Advent, the annual sale of Christmas cards began at St Peter’s on 25th October. In the last five years charities have received over £20 million from their card sales through Cards for Good Causes outlets. Please support the charities of your choice by purchasing Christmas cards from their stall at St Peter’s, which is open Monday-Friday 10.30am-3.30pm, and Saturday 10.30am-4pm.
